About half-way downslope the road to the highway from the Fundación Jocotoco's Buenaventura Reserve in El Oro province, Ecuador we found this wonderful Red-billed Scythebill Campylorhamphus throchilirostris diligently probing into the moss on a branch, almost at eye-level:
