This Parula was photographed downtown Austin, Travis County, Texas on December 29, 2007; It has been seen by a number of birders and widely reoprted as a Tropical Parula, yet I am concerned about the evident pale arcs above/below the eye and the distribution of yellow on the underparts. The tinge of orange on the breast indicates that this is a male, so can hatching-year male Tropical Parulas look like this?
