This Adult Basic Lesser Black-backed Gull
(Larus fuscus) was photographed at Port Isabel,
Texas on February 25, 1991 by Greg Lasley. This bird looks dark
enough to be intermedius, and the tail appears to fall
below the 4th visible primary tip - but those white primary tips
are perhaps too large, so maybe this is a "Dutch intergrade"?:
