This male Slough Amberwing Perethemis domitia was perched out in the sun on a small wooded pond next to Willow Pond #3 at Santa Ana NWR on June 20, 2009; the dorsal marks on the abdomen are almost invisible, and there is almost no dark in the legs... ?:
